The Sonoma State University Financial Aid & Scholarships Office is excited to announce that the scholarship application for the Fall 2027 – Spring 2028 academic year is now open! Our system permits students to submit a single application for a chance to be matched with more than 200 scholarship opportunities, allowing students to spend less time on applications and more time focusing on their studies.

The university's current flag protocol requires University Administration to notify the campus when the flag is lowered to half-staff.
By order of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, the flag will be lowered to half-staff on Thursday, October 29 to recognize the passing of United Farm Workers co-founder Dolores Huerta and honor her commitment to justice, workers’ rights, and civil rights.
