Campus Recreation Center Closure – Friday, October 23

The Campus Recreation Center will be closed on Friday, October 23 to accommodate a planned water shutdown associated with construction of the Gardens at the Rec project.

During demolition, construction crews discovered an abandoned underground water line that conflicts with the location of the new climbing boulders. To safely remove this line, Facilities Management must temporarily shut off the main water supply serving the Campus Recreation Center.

As a result, the Campus Recreation Center will be closed  Friday, October 23. The pool will still be open for lap swim from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We appreciate the campus community's patience and understanding as we complete this necessary work to support the Gardens at the Rec project.
